Back Home (Betsy)
[This is a log file from Betsy old Apple IIe from back in 1988. At the time BBS's where all the rage for computer users & this was from "The CIA". CIA stood for "Computers In Action" but I told everybody it stood for "Circumcised Italian Americans" and for some strange reason people believed me! Sorry BOSS. When it comes to data I'm a packrat. I truly have everything I've ever done/typed.]

I have a very happy announcement to make. Frostar (another user here on the
CIA) and I recently got engaged to be married! We are very excited about
starting a new life together. Does anybody have any comments, tips or
suggestions on marriage? We need all the help we can get.

one question how did you meet? well anyway good luck. and make it a short
engagement, long ones tend to melt the love away.

We met 5 years ago. I was just getting into computers. I had an Apple. He
had a Commodore. He knows ALOT about computers so he came over to help me.
Then 8 months ago we suddenly realized our feelings had changed from best
friends to love. How romantic!

AS THINGS ARE GOING RIGHT NOW, I'LL HAVE BOTH MODES OF TRANSPORTATION SOMETIME
WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO. BY JULY 1 I OUGHT TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE IN A
STRAIGHT LINE, WOULDN'T YOU THINK?

Congratulations! I hope that all
works out well for you in this, the
biggest event of your life. As far
as any suggestions or comments on
marriage, all I have to say is be
happy and remember, "absence makes
the heart grow fonder...of someone**
else". At least that is what
happened to my marriage (military
duties and all). Anyway, I wish
you both all the happiness you de-
serve, and more!

HEY SQUASH, THANKS FOR WORRYING BOUT MY WALLET..BUT THERE WAS NO NEED TO.
I CAN'T UNDERSTAND PEOPLE WHO WORRY ABOUT MONEY. YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU
AND IT CERTAINLY WON'T REPLACE A FRIENDSHIP.
BUT THEN 'VEGGIE'S' WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND.

delivered this morning. Frostar doesn't even know it yet!

church yet. There's so many plans. Has anyone else here ever been married?
If so, how'd you handle the planning? We need all the help we can get.
