Frank J. Fenti, 64, of 304 Canisteo St., Hornell, died early Tuesday morning (Feb. 11, 2003) at the Vincent House in Wayland, following a long illness.

A native and life resident of Hornell, he was born Nov. 24, 1938, and was the son of Frank and Josephine (Yracone) Fenti.

Frank was a graduate of Hornell High School (class of 1959) and was a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1959-1961. He was employed for about 30 years at Foster-Wheeler Corporation, retiring five years ago as a tool grinder. He was a communicant of St. Ann's Church and was an avid gun collector.

He was married on June 25, 1966 to the former Sue Furlong, who survivors. In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Frank W. Fenti of Hornell and Christopher L. Fenti of Hornell; his mother, Josephine Fenti of Hornell; three sisters, Telena (Bucky) Brownell of Hornell, Rosie (Dennis) Linehan of Hornell and Debbie (Peter) Olds of Hornell; one brother, Amilio Fenti; three grandchildren, Deborah Fenti, Hallie Fenti and Maria Fenti; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

At Frank's request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Frank's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Vincent House, 310 Second Ave., Wayland, N.Y. 14572.
