Friday September 16 2005 Fuck!  Me job is ruining my life! It's about time I move on.

Friday September 9th 2005 Hell week is over & Iím still here!  I had a run-in with the same troublesome teachers that seem to like to spread the misery.  There are 3 of them in this group & while I have resisted putting in any names, Iím really thinking about tell my story about the one that put a complaint in about me (with a name).  This is my site! I pay the bills here! What is holding me back is that my site is crawling with search engines bots & her name would be searchable in weeks for her students to find, god help them!  I have never seen such a whiny bunch of adults in my life!  They should go out and get a real job where the squeaky wheel gets no grease it get replaced with a wheel that works.  Ok thatís enough bitching, itís the week endJ

I have the pictures up from my bike ride but I still have a lot of work to go on the page. I not going to post it here just yet but you can find it in the photo section.

Tuesday Aug 29 2005 Yep; Itís been a while I know.  Iíve been very preoccupied with work & when Iím home Iím burned out.  Well what have I been up to in the last couple of weeks?

I did a 53 mile ride on the Erie Canal with Nancy, 25 miles west then the 25 back.  It took us about 4 house.  At that paste the ride to Buffalo this week end will take us about 6 hours.

I found the pin head oats that Iíve been looking for. They are just cut oats, no rolling or steaming.  Iím having some for dinner tonight.  They take about 30 minutes to cook.

Oh.  This happened to me last night and again about two weeks ago.  And I thought that I was past all of this.  I donít like to be picked on; it happened a lot to me while growing up.  I think it is despicable to take pleasure in hurting someone.  It is a sure fire way to end a friendship with me.

Ok Iím back from my dinner and the oatmeal I made from the cut oats was great!  Best Iíve had in a long time!

Iíve spent a night recently working with my ray tracer and have added a new entry to the ďMy artĒ section.  Click here for a shortcut.

Iím going to go read a bit before bed & try to escape the thoughts of work & Iím sorry Iíve been away for so long.

Monday Aug 8 2005 the stress continues to pile up!  to everybody I've been an ASS to; Well I'm sorry.  I tried to de-stress by taking a long bike ride in the dark and rain on old unlit roads we have here.  but all I am is WET, cold and pissie! God I wish I had a car or cookies! I'm going to settle for a beer or two

Monday August 1 2005 STRESS DAY! Due to technical problems that were barely under my control I lost all my bosses email for the last 2 months!  To say that it mad be sick is a horrendous understatement!  I wonít go into the techy details but I did learn something; ďWhen in doubt, Back it up!Ē.  I also had another one of my attacks last night when I wake up not able to breath, scary as fucking hell!  I saw trying to dial my cell phone as I passed out from not breathing.  Iíve said this before ďit feels like dieingĒ. But there were no pearly gates last night as Iím still here typing this.  I think I was out for 10 minutes; the cat was laying & looking at me on the bathroom floor. I thing the panic spiked my blood pressure as I have not felt right since.  Iím kind of scared going to bed.   Oh and it looks like my car is going to stop soon as I canít get it over 8 mph.  like I said; ďBad DayĒ

And one last thing, there gone. PooF!

Wednesday July 27 2005 Tired & going to bed; but I thought that I'd add another song from the whales of Saturn.  Audio

Monday July 25, 2005 Hot hot hot! I fell and injured my knee again. Then I road about 50 miles on it.  So today Iím forgoing the 20 mile ride I wanted to take and instead Iím cleaning and burning DVDís & CDís. AKA taking it easy. I feel bad as Iíve let a lot of things slide lately like friends and email. It seems that no mater how hard I try to keep all my balls in the air I always seem to drop one. Well Iím pulling something to together at the moment to try to mend one of those dropped balls.   Iíve also been working a lot trying to get a mountain of work done over the summer! But the more I try the more I realize that it is in vane!  My thoughts are now turning to damage control!

There has been something going on here on my web site that Iím not happy over.  So with the advice of my friends Iím going to remove a few things.  It is something that I said I would never do.  So take a last look because soon PooF! It all will be gone. Not a trace will be left! Tuesday July 19 2004 F*ck! I was bitten by a tick the size of a pencil eraser! It's been over an hour now and it is still bleeding.  OK I'll admit it, I'm freaked out about it and feeling crawly all over!

Monday July 18, 2005 Wow this heat has me exhausted!  Just for kicks I went on a 12 mile ride tonight in 93ļF heat.  I packed up my camelbak with 2 liters of ice and water and headed out for a route that had a few hills on it.  At this point I think that it was a bad idea, Iím sitting in front of 3 fans with my tee-shirt soaked in water.  Iím just trying to cool down and find some of the energy I had at the start of the ride.  Donít take this as a complaint about the heat as I would rather have the then the snow, I just wish the nights were cooler so the I can sleep a bit better.  The lack of  updates is directly linked to the heat and my job.  Iíve been working hard the last few weeks trying to get everything I need done during the summer and frankly I donít much feel like sitting in front of my machine.

Whatís new?

I went to a wedding this past weekend and learned that you canít buy beer in PA.

My car was quoted a price of $600.00 for a new fuel pump! Thatís on the back burner.

My friend bill is being kind enough to mow my yard for me.

My server died and took a full day to resurrect. It will be down for a few days in the fall. *rebuild time*

Iím getting my mountain bike fixed. Aprox $150.00.

I found someone to help me fix my bathroom, now I just need to raise $700.00. *priority #1*
Iím sure there is more but Iím going out to sit in the sprinkler!

TTFN ta ta for now

But Tuesday July 12 2005 here are some more pictures from my trip; We're getting drunk on custom brewed beer.

Sunday July 10 2005 Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill today because they pissed me off.

Thursday July 7 2005 Happy Birthday to me!

I'm a bit upset about work, more on that later as well as those updates I've Benn talking about!

Tuesday July 5, 2005 Iím back from my adventure, tired but well.  Look for the pictures and details tomorrow.

Thursday June 23 2005 OK OK I'm better, I guess I can chalk it up to moodiness. I've been doing a lot of programming lately.  I'm creating a command line file find utility to replace the crappie one that comes windows. look for it my vaporware download page with all the other stuff I have yet to finish.  for your amusement I give you the following:

Thanks Marty

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
(Hardly seems worth it.)

If you ! passed gas consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
(Now that's more like it!)

The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet.

A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes.
(In my next life, I want to be a pig.)

A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death.
(Creepy.)(I'm still not over the pig.)

Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories a hour
(Don't try this at home, maybe at work)

The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.
("Honey, I'm home. What the....?!")

The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field.
(30 minutes..lucky pig! Can you imagine?)

The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds.
(What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?)

Some lions mate over 50 times a day.
(I still want to be a pig in my next life...quality over quantity)

Butterflies taste with their feet.
(Something I always wanted to know.)

The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.

Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people.
(If you're ambidextrous, do you split the difference?)

Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
(okay, so that would be a good thing)

A cat's urine glows under a black light.
(I wonder who was paid to figure that out?)

An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.
(I know some people like that.)

Starfish have no brains
(I know some people like that too.)

Polar bears are left-handed.
(If they switch, they'll live a lot longer)

Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.
(What about that pig??)

Thursday June 16, 2005 If all Iím am given is a choice of Y or H at some point I have to choose H.

(again!) & Thursday June 16, 2005 If all Iím am given is a choice of Y or H at some point I have to choose H.

Monday June 13, 2005 Sorry for my lack of updates; been a little busy/distracted.  Iím sitting in amazement to the emotional affect that a sound can have.  Betsy and I used to play video games late at night during 1995-2002. And she often fell asleep while watching me play.  A lot of time it was ďMario 64Ē for the Nintendo 64.  And when I would realize she was sleeping I would make my way to the ďDocksĒ level where it had a very soothing sound track.  I would leave it there for hours as she slept and I read.  I often looked over at her on the sofa to watch her sleep.  Well I just found out that a group of programmers have ripped all the music out of a bunch of ď64Ē games and I downloaded them to give a listen.  When the sound track came on ďDire, Dire Docks (in water)Ē, the tears just started to swell up.  Itís been over three years now and Iím starting something new that Iím excited about, I guess Iím surprised how this could come rushing back out of the blue.

Dire, Dire Docks (in water)

Sunday June 12, 2005 I don't like the thoughts that are begging to take shape.

Saturday June 11, 2005 I had promised my self that I was not going to let this happen again.  At this point who's to blame, me!

Saturday June 11 2005 Wow What a week!! here is that note I got when my nasty neighbor made her complaint!  I've since have moved 100'a of bricks to my property line with more to come!

Sunday May 5 2005 Just a quick entry tonight. last week I created an entry in the local paper to remind people of my wife's passing and to direct them to the web site I have created for her.  below is a follow up entry to mine and I'd thought I'd share it with you all.

Frank Fenti, I hope you don't mind but while attending the Art Institute Online, I had remembered your tribute to Betsy that you posted last year and viewed it. Although I had never had the pleasure of actually meeting her. I believe through your website and your love radiating through every word, I feel had actually spent time with her. I posted the link to your website for Betsy and wrote a bit about her on one of my discussion questions dealing with technological advances and the disabled. I hope you don't mind. I had many possitive comments on how Betsy was a wonderful woman. They were also very glad that I posted the link and gave them a chance to "meet" her. It was such a blessing to receive such feedback, I enjoyed your website quite a bit and will look for further opportunities to spread the word on how Betsy's life seemed to radiate love from every angle, even though she was disabled and had many reasons to not be as wonderful as kind she was. As long as that is alright with you of course. Take care and may God Bless you and your wonderful talent for creating websites.

On candystripe legs spiderman comes
Softly through the shadow of the evening sun
Stealing past the windows of the blissfully dead
Looking for the victim shivering in bed
Searching out fear in the gathering gloom and
Suddenly! a movement in the corner of the
Room! and there is nothing I can do when i
Realise with freight that the spiderman is having
Me for dinner tonight

Quietly he laughs and shaking his head creeps
Closer now closer to the foot of the bed and
Softer than shadow and quicker than flies his
Arms are all around me and his tongue in my
Eyes be still be calm be quiet now my precious
Boy don't struggle like that or I will only love
You more for it's much too late to get away or
Turn on the light the spiderman is having you
For dinner tonight

And I feel like I'm being eaten by a thousand
Million shivering furry holes and I know that in
The morning I will wake up in the shivering cold
And the spiderman is always hungry...

Wednesday June 1, 2005 Every now and then a piece of knowledge falls in my lap that changes everything.  Well just such a thing happened to me this Sunday afternoon.  I wonít say just what but WOW.  Itís amazing how a something so small can change everything.  Iím hope Iím worthy of such an opportunity.

I know that that updates have been few and far between lately but Iíve been sick, on vacation, pissed as hell and now back to work. The last 2 weeks have been a wrel wind.

While recovering from being sick I started my vacation and headed east!  That was May 22nd, it was also the 3 years anniversary of Betsyís passing. I was heading to Herkimer NY to mine some diamonds then on to Howe caverns.  I did get some nice Herkimer Diamonds but I learned my Digital camera takes lousy pictures in the dark; AKA the cave.

The drive though the Catskills was great!  I have never been there before and the country was beautiful! While touring the middle of the state I also stopped in Syracuse, Binghamtonf  and Corning to do some shopping and to visit friends. Truth be told, it was a little more then I could afford as Iím still recovering from my financial blunder from a month ago.  I estimate it going to take me another 2-3 pays to totally recovery! Oh Well!  Itís just money and as I look across the landscape of my life I came to realized that I donít have most of the money that have passed between my hands.  Iíve converted it into something more valuable; like memories.

And speaking of memories!  (Another one of those ďMy life is never dullĒ stories!)  Saturday night, May 28th, while coming home from Nancyís place I hit another piece of furniture with the car! (Some of you may remember the Wingback chair I hit doing 70 back in 2000 with the van)  I was heading into Arkport about 11:15Pm doing about 60mph.  There was some low level fog but it was nothing I was worried about.  When all of a sudden I could see though the fog and on the road ahead was a king size mattress. Well I managed to slow down to about 50 before I ran over it.  I think one of the springs must of caught on something under the car as I could feel it being sucked down to the road.  After I cleared it I looked in the rear view mirror.  The mattress had flared up into the air and wrapped itself around the car behind me but he managed to eventually running over it. Just as I was heading out of sight of it it looked like it was flying sideways towage a truck.  I pulled off in Arkport to check out the car but it seemed fine so I continued home.  By the time I got to my house there was smoke pouring out from under the passenger side! So I took the garden hose to my car & engine.  A spring and a large piece of cloth were stuffed up under the exhaust manifold and had caught fire!

Iím sure Iíve forgotten some things.  But Iíll end this by drawing your attention to the new links to the left.  Their personal sites that belong to some of my friends.

Saturday May 28 2005 Lazy & Sloth??

Da Pictures I've been real busy last few days!  but I promise a update soon

Friday May 20, 2005 Still sick but my mood is much better. A good friend once told me a story about what his fraternity did to like Cayuga, its off the Cornell campus in Ithaca.  I think that it just may be an answer to a problem of mine.  Isnít chemistry fun! Believe it or not you can get this at Wal-Mart, Well it's in something.

Thursday May 19 2005 ...

My Apple tree

Tuesday May 17, 2005 Iím a bit under the weather tonight. Iím hopping that it is just allergies and tomorrow Iíll be all set.  Stress day today!  My Bosses up in buffalo have had me chasing phantoms viruses all day, but at least I now know were all those false alerts are coming from.  More mistakes surfaced in my check book tonight and Iím down to $137 till next week.  all in all a really fun day

Monday May 16 2005 Feeling a bit artsy to night so I've broken out some old prg's and came up with the following

Sun May 15 2005 I was to mow my yard but i decided that a long hike on my bad knee was a better idea. I'm paying for it now. My knee is black and blue and swollen.  I've hiked this trail a lot so this time I've tried to take pictures of things I've missed before.

Take me to the pictures

Thursday May 12, 2005 Still a little lame.  Iím spending a quite night with my heating pad.  I did manage to find a bunch of Wendy Carlos's CD yesterday.  Of which I bought 3, my guild for having download some of it is now gone/ Iíve also been trying to put Borg like stuff on my smiley; here are my poor results.

Wednesday May 12 2005 Tired and sore!  On my way out for a bike ride today I fell and twisted my bad knee, but I road anyway 28 miles!  While I was away my network crashed  like a house of cards!

Sunday May 8 2005 work on nada continues

Wednesday May 4 2005 Well for the last two days Iíve been  working a pet project that Iíve been fighting with for some time. Well Iíve mad a bit of a break though, So Iím putting it here.  Itís an Apple IIe Web based emulator.  Iím going to be creating an Apple page in which Iíll put up a lot of fun stuff. This Apple/GS emulator requires an Active X Application. You may need to OK it before it will run on your machine. It boots up Apple II Disks from .DSK files. Remember that the apple is about 20 years old so be patient. After it start running it will accept your keyboard & mouse commands. This one is one of my crowning achievements. In my apple 2 days I finished demos like this in my last month attending High School before joining the workforce.  I was using a little used apple 2 display mode called Lo-Res, 40x40 with 16 colors. I used a look up table to to cycle the colors and a message scrolling routine that had a few effects as well. After you look at all the pretty colors and read my little message go ahead and hit a key & listen to a little song. I captured the music from the appleís cassette in port. It used a zero cross over circuit that gave me a bit when the single changed to zero.  All of this was written in 6502 machine code, I look at the source now and I thing GOD was I smart back then. Back in those days the computer lab monitor used to tell me ďFrank! When are you going to write something usefulĒ.  Unfortunately   I did kind of listen to her and never really pursued this.  Jurist think I could have been on the forefront of the digital music movement.  Iíd mentioned her name but she still teaches there now. In her honor Iím naming the software company that Iím going to publish my new stuff under ďNada SoftwareĒ. The page is in the works.

Apple II Demo

Monday May 1 2005 This past Sunday I went on a long hike started out up on the turnpike following the finger lakes trail to the Kanakadea park but fortunately my cameras batteries were dead so when I got down to Hornell I went home quickly to get new batteries for my camera. So the pictures below started on the last three miles of about an 8 mile hike. It was a lot of fun. Some of the pictures I have include May Apples, dogtooth violets and trillions. I found and on odd formation while hiking off the trail this time. Most features in the woods are created by running water. But what I found I couldnít come up with a way that it could have formed naturally. It was a large crater about 150ft. across and 40ft. deep.  Way too big for somebody who had dug it out. Iím going to go back with a metal detector as the only thing I can come up with is that itís an old impact crater from meteorite.  The edges were all soft & round and filled with trees so if it is one itís an old one. Some of you may know that the necklace that I wear around my neck is made of a meteorite. The meteorite was dated to be around 5 billion years old making it half a billion years older than our planet itself. Itís a symbol to me. The link to the pictures is below.  Well, Iím off to rewire of my new computer room.   <<The Hike>>

Thursday April 26 2004 Troubled, maybe a good nights sleep will help;. Things still aren't 100% with the internet here

Monday April 25 2005 Well I get my new cable modem tomorrow during lunch and Iíll move my web server home on Wednesday. Iím updating my site tonight via my cell phone. I tested it and I can make a 9600baud connection, ah the fond memories of dialup! I started to read ďA Clockwork OrangeĒ years ago mainly because the local library would not get it; you know the banned book thing. Well I never did get into it. Fast forward a few decades and I watch the move. What struck me more then the movie was the sound track. The music was a fusion of classical and electronic. Wow!  But at the time there was no internet and finding out more was very difficult.  Fast forward again to the present & I see the book while at a Boarders last week. The idea is back; Learn more.  Well here is what I found. The composer is Wendy Carlos born Walter Carlos and everything Iíve have hear is very moving. Iím ashamed to admit it but Iíve download a lot of her work. Iím going to go buy a few CDs this weekend while attend the opening of the only book I have ever been able to get though (The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy).  If youíd like to know more about Wendy and her music see the links below.  Also new this weekend is that my ghost made another appearance (See photo below). While I was out in my front room watering my plates I heard what I thought was the dishes settling in the sink. But when I got out there to refill I found my dish drainer upside down on the floor. Iíve also been seeing things out of the corner of my eye, shadows moving.  Like I said before Iím not going to worry till the house scream Get Out.

Say maybe you all can do me a little favor. On my front page what are some of your ideas that I could put in that big empty?  How about it! Email me your thoughts. Oh I hid something i love in this post.

Sun April 24 2005 Wow isn't this fun, during the web site move all the counters reset! most everything should now be working.  my financial blunder of the last month is a real riot!  In that the $1300.00 check I wrote to the IRS Bounced. Oops.

Wednesday April 20, 2005 Well thatís SUCKs; I broke another window in my back room!! I was moving in a bike from out of the rain when it fell though the window.  Thatís makes 2; just 3 more to go.  Iíve decide to put up a sub site for my programming.  Iíve completed two programs that I believe could be useful to others. One is a web log displayer. The other is a rename-er; it renames thing based on the date and time so that the file will appear in the order they were created.  Wow Some times I surprise myself, I just WinHex to fix a small issue i was having with one of my favorite utilities XXCOPY. it's true that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

It would be one of my greatest wishes for this world that people would think though their words before they say them.  Once spoken they can NEVER be unspoken! There may come a time that words could be forgiven but not forgotten.

Tuesday April 19 05; I was going to write something but the "Children of dune" is on!

Monday April 18, 2005 All the biking Iíve done has left me a bit lame so Iím taking a couple days off & spending them with a heating pad.  Iím going to stretch and attempt to do some weights.  ...later... I just got a very strange message on my cell phone a sec ago.   It would appear that there is a rumor going around Hornell that someone named ďFrank FentiĒ just won $178,000.00. All my searches have confirmed that Iím the only living ďFrank FentiĒ left on the planet but my bank account has not moved a bit today; other then down that is.  I even went back to look at my April fools day post but that was $145,000.  Hey maybe Iím going to take the month off and bike in Europe!   Well Iím off to check my lotto numbersÖ.Nop not winners.

Sunday April 17 2005 just a quick one see the link above.

Wednesday April 13, 2005 Iím at my temporally post at a neighboring district. With just 5 more days left to this post.  Iím bored out of my gourd; there is nothing to do here! So I thought that Iíd look busy by writing here for a second.  There is really not much to report!  Iíd been a bit busy this week so I have not done any riding, hopefully tonight Iíd break that trend.  Well I found something to work on; itís the IP and domain migration in Hornell thatís coming up.

Ö Later that nightÖ.    Öand at homeÖ..

Well I said good bye to a lot of money, AKA paying bills and taxes.  I mad a mistake last month with my check book and NOT in my favor, I transposed a 4 & 9. so I was under the impression I had 600 more then I really did.  Itís a good ting that I wrote those checks to the IRS two month ago and held on to them. Otherwise I would have bounced a lot of stuff.  I did some restructuring on my web site to make it easier to administrate.  I used some of my spare time to day to create a bootable Linux CD with a bunch of hacking tools on it.  I will use it to recovered data from failed systems.

I'm getting a lot of visitors looking for music!  Their doing a yahoo search for a song and it's in my MP3 list.  But it's just a list you can't download from it.  You can download from my MP3 server but you have to ask for a login :)
